Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Pawtreon, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and post content on Pawtreon. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@pawtreon.example.

Content you post

You keep ownership of the photos, text, and cases you post on Pawtreon. By posting content, you grant Pawtreon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

You are responsible for the content you post. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, anything that infringes copyright or trademark, or anything that violates our Community Guidelines.

Donations and payments

Pawtreon does not hold, process, or transmit donations. When you click Donate on a case, you are redirected to Ko-fi, a third-party payment platform, which is solely responsible for the payment transaction and the transfer of funds to the recipient.

Pawtreon is not a party to the donation contract between you and the case organizer. Pawtreon makes no warranty as to the use, delivery, or outcome of any donation, and you agree that Pawtreon is not liable for any loss, misuse, or failure related to donations.

Before donating, you should review Ko-fi’s terms of service, fees, and privacy policy. Your relationship with Ko-fi is governed by their terms, not ours.

Acceptable use

Your use of Pawtreon must comply with our Community Guidelines. Among other things, you agree not to:

• Post fraudulent, misleading, or impossible cases.
• Impersonate another person, organization, or rescue.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Upload content that glorifies or depicts animal cruelty.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts.
• Use the service to distribute spam, malware, or illegal content.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, remove content, or restrict your access if we believe you have violated these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or if required by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you, but we may act without notice in serious cases.

No warranty

Pawtreon is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any case will reach its funding goal or that any animal will be rescued.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawtreon, its volunteers, and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of donations, or emotional distress.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Sofia, Bulgaria, unless a mandatory consumer protection law gives you a different forum.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of Pawtreon after the update means you accept the new Terms.
